COUNCILMEMBERS GREEN AND SÁNCHEZ INTRODUCE BUSINESS PRIVILEGE TAX (BPT) REFORM LEGISLATION
Reform Designed to Increase Philadelphia’s Competitiveness,
Stimulate Economic Activity, and Generate Job Growth

City Council members Bill Green and Maria Quiñones Sánchez today introduced legislation that would reform the city’s Business Privilege Tax (BPT) to encourage economic growth, generate new jobs, support investment in local businesses, and remove the disincentive to locating businesses in Philadelphia.
